About Atlas Webdevelopment

Hi, my name is Tsjerk! I started building websites after living in Valencia, where I realized how much I loved working remotely and creating things that actually help people. That experience sparked my passion for web development and for designing websites that are clean, simple, and easy to maintain.

I run my small web studio independently, which means you’ll always talk directly to me. I focus on building sites that just work: fast, responsive, and easy to use with no unnecessary features or complicated tools. Whether it’s a landing page or a small business website, I make sure it’s practical, reliable, and ready for growth.

I believe a website doesn’t have to be flashy to make an impact, it just needs to do its job and help you reach your goals. That’s what I’m here for.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • I mainly build clean, fast, and reliable websites for small businesses and individuals.
Think landing pages, portfolio sites, and multi-page company websites that focus on clarity, performance, and usability.

Most of my work is based on static pages. That means fewer moving parts, better speed, and less maintenance but not compromising on looking modern and professional. As I like to put it:

“Your company brings the arts, I build the gallery ensuring visitors to see you.”

If your project needs more advanced features later on, the structure is always built with growth in mind, so expanding your site stays simple.

  • I work with proven structures rather than starting from scratch every time. This helps keep projects efficient, reliable, and cost-effective. That said, every website is customized to fit your brand, content, and goals no copy-paste. Design, layout, colors, and content are always tailored to you. The underlying structure just ensures your site is fast, responsive, and built on solid foundations. You get a custom-looking website without unnecessary complexity.

  • For an average website, the process usually takes around 3 to 4 weeks, from design agreement to launch. This includes design, development, testing, and final adjustments.

  • Yes. If you already have a website and want to update or improve it, I can help with that as well. I have experience working with systems like WordPress, Joomla, and similar platforms, and I can update or adjust existing setups if that’s what you prefer.

If a rebuild makes more sense, we can also look at that together. I’ll always focus on the option that fits your website and goals best.

  • Absolutely. All websites I build are fully responsive and designed to work smoothly on phones, tablets, and desktops. Mobile usability is considered from the start, not added as an afterthought. Your site will look good and remain easy to use, no matter the screen size.

  • Yes, there are different options. I offer a basic CMS solution that allows you to publish blog posts, share images, and post updates or news yourself. It’s lighter and more focused than something like WordPress, but perfect for regular content updates.

This CMS option is a premium feature, as it requires ongoing maintenance. If you don’t need that, I can also handle small updates for you. In that case, you can work with a credit system: small text changes cost fewer credits, while larger changes use more.

  • Wix and Squarespace can be great tools, especially for very simple websites or quick personal projects. For some people, they’re exactly the right choice.

That said, they also come with limitations in flexibility, performance, and long-term control. I build websites with clean code and a clear structure, which allows for better customization, faster loading times, and more room to grow as your needs change. You’re not locked into a platform, and your website stays truly yours.

If a website builder is the better option for your situation, I’ll always be honest about that.

  • Yes. All websites I build are optimized for speed and follow modern SEO best practices in the code. I use an up-to-date framework and clean structure to ensure your website is fast, accessible, and easy for search engines to understand.

If you want to go further, I also work together with an external specialist in copywriting and SEO. We collaborate during the launch phase to make sure both the technical and content sides of your website are aligned.

  • Yes. After launch, I can continue to support and maintain your website if needed. This can include updates, small changes, performance checks, and general technical support.

You can choose what fits you best: ongoing support, occasional updates, or working with a credit-based system for changes. That way, your website stays up to date without you having to worry about the technical side.
