Where is my candidates’ data stored?
In your own accounts. The automation runs in your Make or Zapier account and writes straight into your own ATS, inbox or spreadsheet. Nothing ends up on a server of mine. After the handover you can simply revoke my access.
What about the GDPR?
Applications are personal data, so I only pass on the fields that are really needed. Make and Zapier both offer a data processing agreement, and with Make you can choose a European data centre. Want applications deleted after a fixed period? I can automate that too.
Does it work alongside our ATS?
Yes. Your team keeps working in its own ATS. The automation adds to it: applications go in, confirmations and reminders go out. Recruitee has its own app in Make and Zapier. Carerix, OTYS and Mysolution I connect through their API. Whether you have access to it, I find out for you up front.
We use a spreadsheet, not an ATS. Does that work too?
Yes. A shared list in Google Sheets or Excel works fine as the central place. If you move to an ATS later, I switch the connection over.
